We have an exciting range of after-schoola and lunchtime clubs including football, keyboards, choir, gymnastics, dance, cross country, ballet, film club, construction and engineering. The clubs are taken by teachers, teaching assistants as well as outside specialists. There are both fee-paying and free clubs and we work hard to ensure that all children have equality of access and opportunity in terms of this element of extra-curricular provision. Information about each term's clubs is sent to parents at the end of a preceding term/beginning of a new term. Next term clubs will start the week commencing 23rd September 2019 and run for 8 or 9 sessions.

|Monday||Dance||3,4,5,6||Redz Street Dance are returning to Saxon this term and will be introducing their upbeat and energetic street dance classes. The dance classes will cover a range of urban styles including popping, locking, hip hop / house as well as incorporating Zumba moves with coordination and style. This club begins on 23rd September and ends on 25th November.
Book bugs is a time for children to explore the world of books and get creative. They have a special story time and discussion where the love of books is shared and explored. The children are then able to create art work related to the characters or settings of the book. This club begins on 23rd September and ends on 25th November.
|Monday||Cross Country Running||4,5,6||Miss Farrington will run this club on the field aiming to improve children's fitness, with a focus on stamina. Please note this club will go ahead even if it is raining so pack a waterproof and sensible shoes! This club begins on 23rd September and ends on 2nd December. There will be no session on 18th November.|
|Tuesday||Gymnastics||1,2,3||Weybridge Gymnastic Coaches support in the developing and teaching of a range of floor techniques, including the element of performance. This club begins on 24th September and ends on 3rd December. There will be no sessions on 22nd October or 26th November.
|Tuesday||Ballet||R,1,2||Ballet Club will teach the children the basic movements of ballet and sequence their moves into a dance. There will be no session on 26th November.
Children will learn simple chords and strumming patterns, building towards learning songs to play and perform. This club is suitable for guitar players of all abilities and children will also have the opportunity to borrow a guitar from school to practice at home. The club will start on Tuesday 24th September and will run until 3rd December. There will be no session on 26th November.
Mrs Lumb will be running this club which will give the children the opportunity to explore Lego, building a range of different structures each week. This club begins on 25th September and ends on 27th November.
Mr Lumb will lead this fun and creative club for KS2 children. This club begins on 25th September and ends on 27th November.
Mr Lumb leads this club with a range of football drills and skills. Please note this club will go ahead even if it is raining so pack a waterproof and sensible shoes! This club begins on 26th September and ends on 28th November.
Children will learn the basic positions of yoga, developing their balance and flexibility in a fun and engaging environment.
|Friday||Infant Choir Lunchtime - No Charge||1,2||Miss Shoemark leads Key Stage 1 choir, exploring a range of different genres of music.|
Membership of a club will cost £2.50 per session - unless stated 'No Charge'.
All clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. There will be no refund if your child misses a session.
